1) The challenges you saw in 2017 in the wedding industry and how do you see things changing in 2018 & 2019?
In the current times, social media arms like Instagram and Pinterest have increased the spectrum of possibilities. There are many platforms and apps that are perfect for doing wedding research and planning, with up-to-date information and inspiration. The challenge for us wedding planners can be translating the virtual boards filled with likes and wants, of these Pinterest users into reality since the ideas can come from a gamut of sources.
2)What is key to grow in wedding planning business?
It is important to keep creating and re-inventing yourself. As a team we are constantly doing more research, looking out for new things to create, innovate and deliver better. We constantly keep asking ourselves what more we can do and offer. The idea is to never be complacent since we strongly believe that quality work is the key to grow in a wedding planning business. Be it décor, entertainment or any other aspect of wedding planning, we want to push the envelope and deliver more than expected.
3) How or on what basis do you choose to work with vendors?
We are very particular about the quality of products and services we provide to our clients, thus this decision is made with much thought and research. We believe it is important to associate with vendors who are passionate about their work and are willing to collaborate and cooperate. In our constant effort to progress, we always need partners who understand our vision and help us in our endeavor.
4)What key point do you think that the attendees of EWP in Dubai will take back after the event?
